About Agistri

Agistri is a tiny island of the Saronic Gulf, located only a short ferry ride from Athens. Due to its close distance to the capital of Greece, Agistri island is a very popular weekend destination for Athenians. It is located 55 minutes from Piraeus, the main port of Athens, and only 10 minutes from Aegina island. The crystal beaches of this tiny, but beautiful place, attract many tourists looking for relaxing holidays.

Getting around Agistri

There is a regular ferry service to Agistri from the port of Piraeus, the main port of Athens. The normal ferry to Agistri takes about 1 hour and half and arrives at the port of Skala. The hydrofoil ferry to Agistri takes about 1 hour from Piraeus and arrives at the port of Megalochori (Myli). There are ferries from Agistri to: Piraeus, Aegina, Methana. There is a bus and a tourist train going from Skala and Megalochori to Dragonera and Aponissos, the two most famous beaches on the island.
