Clean, Tidy, Spacious with Friendly Staff
    • Holyhead to Dublin with Stena Line

Smooth journey, with only a late departure (resulting in a late arrival) on the outgoing trip marring the experience. My only criticism would be the poor choice of food, especially if you aren't into eating fried food or stodgy pies. Next time I'll just bring my own food. However, friendly staff, clean and tidy facilities and plenty of space to stretch your legs more than compensates. On the return journey we booked a cabin and will do this in the future as it provided even more opportunity to relax and unwind.

    Boarding
    • Holyhead to Dublin with Stena Line

Great experience for first time travel buy car, however the not knowing how long you had to wait to board was confusing. We arrived start of the queue but didn't board till almost last.

Family Lounge so convenient with little kids, but bring your own food!
    • Dublin to Holyhead with Stena Line

The family lounge was a wonderful surprise for tired parents to travel with young kids. There was a play structure, movies, a supervised craft and even a song and dance session with their mascot! The kids were well occupied, and we parents could relax on the couches (to the sounds of kids running around). Wonderful. The food on the other hand wasn't great. Plain, extra-dry burgers, and the kitchen closed at 4 so we had to eat supper extra early even though we had several more hours of travel. So the lounge is worth it, but pick up some sandwiches before you go!

Quick to take your money but when things go wrong sorry is all you get.
    • Dublin to Holyhead with Stena Line

Quick to take your money but when you get stuck in the boat for well over a hour and 15 minutes sorry is all you get travelled at the end of October and no results for being stuck in the hollows of the boat no coffee or tea food or nothing just left below and no directions felling like being left on the Titanic waiting for it to sink no interest in looking after the customer get the money and abcd you that leaves them happy and yourself home over a hour late.
